According to the Nurses’ Annual Health Study Newsletter, it was found that alcohol modestly increased the risk of colorectal cancer in men and women who drank at least two alcoholic beverages a day were 25% more likely to develop colorectal cancer than those who abstained from alcohol. Beer, wine and liquor all had similar effects.
