A two-week study funded by Kellog’s researchers on the effects of fiber rich foods, was conducted in Wales on 140 adults that were monitored throughout their day. Certain of the group ate fiber rich cereals (5 to 10 grams per serving, for breakfast, The study reported that those participants who ate the higher fiber cereal felt less tired than those who consumed low fiber cereals.

Research has suggested that high fiber foods digest more slowly and may keep blood sugar levels from rising and falling. It was also reported other fibrous foods, such as whole grain bread and fruits can be beneficial.
